The Route
After what seems like months of preparation, but in actual fact was just a Saturday afternoon, we finalised our rough route, with the aid of Doug`s cat.
We will be taking “The Southern Route”, along with about 30 other teams - heading through:
England, France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia.
The total journey is approximately 9000 miles long, across 19 countries and it will take us around 5-6 weeks to reach the Ulaan Baatar in Mongolia!
