The countdown begins…On July 19th 2008 Team Boar will be departing from Hyde Park in what is expected to be the most rubbish car ever envisaged, heading for an unlikely destination of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia with 199 other teams.

The challenge is to travel a third of the way around the earth, from London to Mongolia via a plethora of countries most people haven’t heard of in any crap car that has an engine with no more than 1 litre of power.

And here she is, Suzi herself - ready to rock and roll.

Starting from London, the rally finishes in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar around five weeks and a whole heap of adventure later. Our planned route will take us through Turkey and Iran, followed by then stan`s, a tiny bit of Russia and a 1200 mile slog across the Gobi desert in Mongolia.

We`re raising money for 2 fabulous charities in Mongolia - The Christina Noble Childrens Foundation and Mercy Corps Mongolia. We`re also collecting items to take to Sworde Teppa in Tajikistan.
